Library is an important indicator of growth and development in labour administration. Library plays a very important role in promoting the progress of knowledge. The Division of library and Documentation was established in 1983.  The Library consists of written and printed materials and it provide services and research to support to the public.  The Library which is located on the ground floor of the Ministry of Labour is the only specialized research library in Liberia covering the subject on field of labour. It is open from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on working days for readers free of charge.

Function
The Division of Library and Documentation is the custodian of all Labour documents as well as documents of other government Ministries and agencies and at the same time serve as resource center to the Public.

Achievement
The Librarians are responsible to help people find information and conduct research for personal and professional use relating to labour activities in Liberia. Such as, Decent Work Act of Liberia of 2015, Liberia Labour Law, Liberian Codes Revised, Annual Report of the Ministry, ILO Conventions and International Labour Conventions, Ruling from the Labour Court, Program and Policy Documentation and Implementation, Regional Labour Activities, Labour Standards, Trade Unions, Employment, among others.
