Profile of Hon. Rufus Kolako Freeman

Hon. Rufus Kolako Freeman is a Liberian by nationality. He has worked with several organizations in both Public and Private sectors in Liberia and Ghana. He has acquired valuable knowledge and experiences that are very significant tools which he has to his disposal in the discharge of his duty as the current Assistant Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Labour. As a career and seasoned educationist as well as administrator, for the past twenty years couple with his graduate and post-graduate education gotten from high profile institutions such Andrews University in Michigan USA, Cape Coast University in Ghana, and Jilin University in China, he sits at a vantage position to help drive the Ministry of Labour in becoming the first among the best government institution in Liberia.
He is a strong proponent of the bottom to top approach of organization decision making process and servant leadership style. Besides, he believes, that with a strong team spirit and consolidations of ideas, success and achievement are sure. He is of the strongest conviction that the ARREST Agenda and its achievement is the surest way to catapult Liberia to noble destiny.
Hon. Freeman has served as classroom teacher, principal/Headmaster/Supervisor of schools, District Pastor, local church pastor, University Lecturer, Chairman of the Board of Seventh-day Adventist School System in Liberia, President (Bishop) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Liberia and Chairman of the Board of Trustee of the Adventist University of West Africa (AUWA).
Since his appointment by the president of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai as Assistant Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Labour, he has worked with all sectors/divisions of the ministry to create a conducive and harmonious working environment that has kept the ministry on path in the achievement of its statutory responsibilities.
