The office of International Labour Affairs (ILA) is responsible for coordinating international labour related issues and for liaising with international organizations operating in Liberia.  The office also serves as the Ministry’s permanent representative at the International Labour meetings and conferences.

Scope of Work

• The ILA is responsible to ensure that Liberian workers around the word are treated and compensated fairly in line with best international labour practices.

• The ILA is responsible to notify, ratify and ensure compliance to all international agreements and conventions that are signatory by the Ministry of Labour on behalf of the Government of Liberia.

• The ILA is responsible for handling records, reports and documentation of every international conventions, seminars, workshops, trainings, and engagements by any personnel of the Ministry.
